31 DAYS OF TAROT POEMS

Wheel of Fortune, Justice,

The Chariot Reversed

&

The King of Cups

indecision climbs trees and falls, bleeds
water soothes
a shortage drowns,
dissolves, what echoes is your core
what splits is your crown
what’s worse than indecision?
being wrong?
hysterical waves of wrinkled soil charge you
for the funeral you wear on your feet
with a coy damp cloth, you doubt what
you already know
wipe it clean
slow down
watch the chaos
hurricane away,
watch it slice its own throat
a shadow hangs low,
you drink of immortality,
well, you think you do
a poison did you wrong
but you’re strong
you froth
survive
spit
nothing can kill you
only time
