us poem#14

i want you size small,

a body brick.

i want me size large,

a body of soft layers.

i want you running from your past, smiling.

i want me waiting to catch up.

your palms, embers on my face, warming my perished.

i want you sleeping clicked to knees.

i want my breath on your back, arms in my wheezing.

i want us, poetry.

i want us, art.

i want us, fearless.

i want us, love.

i want us, in us

breathing, perished, found, warm, wheezing, smiling, large, bricks, small.
