trauma in the teeth poem #5

mouth full

of gold depressions,

dentistry of the affluent,

of the miserable.

mismatched garments,

miss the point of what it means

 to be,

cutting edge.

all that cutting,

doesn’t involve fabric.

disappointed mouth,

sacrifices secrets

half-circle smile

ruffled dress.

dirty drool dripping

on

dangerous dark daughter

erupts

into

molten

ash.
